Correlation Between Smoke Indexes of Cigarette and Chemical Components of Cut Tobacco

The relational degree between smoke index of cigarette and chemical components of cut tobacco was determined by the grey correlation analysis.The relational degree between tar and total sugar was up to 0.80(the highest)and the relational degree between tar of cigarette and chemical components of cut tobacco was total sugarreducing sugarsugar-nicotine ratiototal nitrogen=total nicotinenitrogen-nicotine ratioK-Chl ratioKChl The relational degree between cigarette's nicotine content and total nicotine content of cut tobacco reached 0.78 and the relational degree between cigarette's nicotine content and chemical components of cut tobacco was total nicotinetotal sugar=reducing sugartotal nitrogensugar-nicotine ratioK-Chl rationitrogen-nicotine ratioKChl.The relational degree between cigarette's CO content and total nitrogen content of cut tobacco was 0.71and the relational degree between cigarette's CO content and chemical components of cut tobacco was total nitrogenK-Chl ratiototal nicotinenitrogen-nicotine ratiosugar-nicotine ratio=total sugarKreducing sugarChl.
