Research of C8051F320 Device Application of Geophysical Instrument

The frame of geophysical instrument and C8051F320 device is described. It approaches the C8051F320 device application of geophysical instrument from different angles. C8051F320 device is configurable and integrates many analog peripherals and digital peripherals. Therefore,the design based on C8051F320 device is user-friendly and convenient. According to the principles of geophysical instrument,it gives the frame of system and analyses the design of power supply part and reset circuits. It can monitor the temperature of the system by on-chip temperature sensor and 10-bit ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) with analog multiplexer. Integrated USB (Universal Serial Bus) function controller and supporting software makes USB technology development conveniently without technical skills. To alter amplitude and frequency of output voltage for resistivity measurement instrument set PCA (Programmable Counter Array) in 16-bit PWM (Pulse Width Modulator) mode. Moreover the ultrasonic range finder based on C8051F320 is carried out already. It improves the accuracy and supports USB2.0 protocol,so that it is a really worthwhile design.
