The Application of Integrated Geophysical Methods to an Iron Ore in Shanshan County of Xinjiang

This paper introduces the application of audio-frequency magnetotelluric and IP sounding methods to an iron ore in Shanshan county of Xinjiang.The paper describes layers in ore district,geological structure and magmatic conditions in the resume of ore district geology summary,and chooses integrated geophysical methods for the mine through the geological and geophysical characteristic.The interprets based on magnetotelluric sounding achievement and magnetic survey achievement,with the help of IP measurement,not only delineates the anomaly,speculates and provides drilling position,but also verifies the effect of integrate geophysical methods of audio frequency magnetotelluric sounding and IP sounding,which is very effective in magnetite searching and spatial orientation.
