Application of High Density Resistivity Method to Exploration of Water in Eastern Mountain Area of Guizhou

In order to improve the success rate of pumping wells for drought resistant drillling in the karst mountainous areas of Guizhou,the high density resistivity method is used to carry out the field work in this area.High density resistivity method is an efficient and accurate method to find shallow groundwater resources,which is widely used in droughtresistant drilling in eastern Guizhou.In this paper,the profiles are laid out to perpendicular to the fracture and joint fissure development zone in the karst mountainous area of the eastern Guizhou.Further,the dip of tectonic,development and rich water condition of the fracture zone can be quickly identified after the data inversion by professional software.It is proved by drilling that the method is feasible and reliable in finding karst water in this area,which can provide scientific basis for determining the drilling hole in the karst mountain area.
