Equipment reliability prediction based on dual-parametric Weibull distribution

Owing that the Weibull distribution is frequently applied for reliability engineering and lifespan data analysis,the dual-parametric Weibull reliability lifespan distribution model speculated.Then,the parametric estimation is proposed using the least-square method regarding the square and minimum of horizontal and vertical residuals.Afterwards,the impacts of distribution function on different prediction results are discussed.Finally,the equipment or component reliability prediction is completed based on the existing failure data.Therein,this approach sets a reference to the factory equipment maintenance management so as to avoid such situations as maintenance shortage or maintenance excessiveness.
