Testing Study on Mechanical Properties of Saline Soil

Based on the physical and chemical properties of saline soil the treatment of the soil is carried out by mixing lime or cement. The compaction test, shear strength test, CBR test and resilience test for the mixing soil have be done, and it is shown that the properties of the mixture of soil-cement (2%,3%,4% Portland cement) or soil-lime (2%,4%,6% lime) are greatly improved. The improved mixture of saline soil and cement (or lime) can be used to the filling of subgrade.
