Evaluation of anticorrosive measures for wheat straw and strengthening mechanism of reinforced saline soil in littoral area

Based on the idea to develop the new reinforced material,a new concept that the saline soil in littoral area is reinforced with the anticorrosive wheat straw is proposed. By means of SEM photos,it is proved that the SH agent is infiltrated through the pores of wheat straw,and is adhered to surface of wheat straw,the SH agent could enhance the capability of wheat straw on anticorrosion. The results from the tensile tests are certified that the ultimate pull and the extension rate of the wheat straw marinated in SH agent are greatly increased and more than that of the wheat straw in natural state under the condition of the same soaking time.The saline soil in littoral area could be reinforced with the wheat straw marinated in SH agent,which could increase the strength and stability of reinforced soil. The strengthening mechanism of reinforced soil with wheat straw could be explained by the bending mechanism and the intercrossing mechanism.
