Application of dowel bar reinforced CFG pile composite subsoil treatment in Beijing

In recent years,rigid CFG pile composite subsoil treatment has been widely used in the high-rise or ultra high-rise buildings ranging from 20 to 30 storeys in height.Bearing capacity of composite subsoil can reach 650kPa.Characterized by its high strength and sound compaction,rigid CFG pile has much more prominent advantages with the incremental surrounding pressure.To fully assert the aforesaid advantages of rigid CFG pile,and to make sure pile tip or those pile shaft near the pile tip will not be damaged under the high bearing capacity,dowel bar is to be appropriately inserted for strengthening on the top section of the CFG pile.Consequently,the integral horizontal shear resistance,horizontal bending resistance and vertical compressive resistance capability of CFG pile composite subsoil are therefore greatly enhanced.Thus,the further widespread application of CFG pile composite subsoil treatment in the large-sized highrise and ultra high-rise buildings can become real.Based on one actual subsoil treatment project of Guanghua International World Trade Center,this paper introduces one kind of new technique——dowel bar reinforced CFG pile composite subsoil treatment.This kind of technique can effectively extend the application scope of the prevailing rigid CFG pile.It can also be successfully applied to other similar building projects,in which the maximum characteristic value of bearing capacity of composite subsoil can reach 938kPa.
