The State-of-Art of Monitoring and Diagnosis Techniques of Coal Combustion

Coal is the most important energy sources in China. Techniques used in monitoring and diagnosis of the coal combustion play an important role in the national strategy of saving energy and reducing emissions. In this paper,the methods of monitoring and diagnosis of the coal combustion are reviewed,researches on relevant techniques and applications across the home and abroad are compared,and the characteristics,especially the merits and drawbacks of the existing methods are discussed. On this basis,the author summarizes the key problems and their potential solutions in monitoring and diagnosis of the coal combustion.
