Study on Changes and Control Methods of the Lateral Stiffness in Tall Building Structures(Ⅰ)

By extensive computational analysis of several kinds of tall building structures and investigation of relative earthquake damage reports,the influencing factors,the control methods and the affects on seismic behaviors of the abruptness of lateral stiffness are studied in this paper.Some suggestions and supplements on the control methods of lateral stiffness ratio of adjacent storey used in the national codes are put forward.The key point of part Ⅰ is the influence by the changes of story height.
