Influence of Line Reconstruction on Seismic Response of an Existing Railway Deck Arch Bridge

Taking the 3 span of 53 m deck type reinforced concrete rib arch bridge as the research object in this paper,the change laws of dynamic characteristics and seismic response of the bridge are analyzed aiming at the change of two stage of dead load and boundary constraint conditions before and after the line reconstruction,at last the seismic performance of the bridge is evaluated. The results showed that:( 1) after line reconstruction,the transverse natural vibration frequency decreases,but the longitudinal and vertical natural frequencies increase;( 2) after line reconstruction,the seismic response of the bridge is obviously changed,the longitudinal seismic response increases about 10% and the transverse seismic response is increased by 30% ~ 70%;( 3) after line reconstruction,reinforced tensile stress of the main arch rib control section is increased about 5% ~ 20%,but the values is smaller than corresponding allowable material stress,so it shows that seismic performance of the bridge can still meet the requirements of specification.
