THE THEORETICAL AND FINITE ELEMENT SOLUTIONS OF AN INTERFERENCE PROBLEM OF HYPERELASTIC MATERIALS

This paper gives the theoretical solution of axisymmetric interference problem of hyperelastic (or Green elastic) materials under the condition of plane strain, based on the constitutive relations of large-strain hyperelasticity. An example is presented to compare the theoretical solution with the finite element solution. The effect of hyperelastic material抯 compressibility on stress level is discussed.
