EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON HEAT TRANSFER OF WATER JET AND SPRAYING COOLING HIGH TEMPERATURE WALL

Thansient heat transfer from very hot wall by waer jet and spray cooling was studied experimentally by means of direct measurment of the surface temperature. The effects of the jet velocity, water subcooling, initial wall temperature, nozzledo-plate spacing and the flow desity of spraying on nucleate, transition, film boiling, minimum and maximum heat flux were investigated. Systematic experimental results were presented and discussed.
