THE FUSION CHARACTERISTICS AND MINERAL SPECIES OF BLENDED COAL ASH

The fusion temperature of ashes derived from blended coal were measured, and themineral component of such ashes were analysised by XRD. It shows that, the coal blendingmay change the slagging trendency of raw coal; the low temperature co-fusion of blendedash will lead to the nonlinear relation between fusion temperature and coal mixing ratio; theMullite in coal ash has great effect upon the ash fusibility at deformation temperature (T1),the ash fusion temperature rises as Mullite yield rises.
