AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON FRICTIONAL PRESSURE LOSS FOR OIL-WATER TWO-PHASE FLOW IN HORIZONTAL PIPES

In this paper an experimental research on the frictional pressure loss of oil-water liquid-liquid two-phase flow in horizontal pipes is conducted. The horizontal test section is made of 40 mm inner diameter Plexiglas pipe. According to the different structures of typical flow patterns; different models were applied to predict the frictional pressure loss of oil-water two-phase flow in flow ranges corresponding to flow pattern.
