NUMERICAL SIMULATION ON HEAT TRANSFER AND FLIUD FLOW OF AIR ACROSS CORRUGATED TUBE BUNDLES

The fluid flow and heat transfer outside 8-row corrugated tube bundles is studied numerically in this paper using the laminar and turbulent models. It was found that numerical results of laminar model were more close to the experimental data than that of the turbulent model. The corresponding correlations of Nusselt number vs Reynolds number were obtained for both laminar and turbulent model.
