THE SIMULATION OF SAR AND INSTANTANEOUS TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION FOR TUMOR RF THERMOTHERAPY

The model establishment and numerical simulation of SAR and the instantaneous temperature distribution for no-wound tumor RF thermotherapy are performed in this paper. The model can correctly represent the attenuation of electromagnetic wave in the biotissue, the variation of blood perfusion with temperature and lower blood perfusion of the tumor tissue are fully considered in the model, the simulation results are close to the clinic practice with these measures. Detailed analyses and discussions are carried out in the paper for characteristics of the specific absorption rate (SAR) of electromagnetic energy and the temperature profiles, as well as the influential factors.
