INVESTIGATION ON HEAT TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS FOR KEROSENE UNDER HIGH PARAMETER AND IN SMALL DIAMETER TUBE

Experiment and theory investigations are carried out for SJSX kerosene in small diameter tube under conditions of high heat flux, high flow rate, high pressure in this paper. The test parameters are as follows: heat flux (q) = 0.8 - 50 MW/m2, subcritical pressure (p) = 2 MPa, supercritical pressures (p)=5, 15 MPa, mass flow rates (pw) = 8500 ~ 51000 kg/m·s, inner diameter of test tube (φ) = 1.7 mm. By this study, the heat transfer characteristics of SJSX kerosene at subcritical and supercritical pressures, the limit condition when fictitious boiling occurred, the critical flux and influencing factors for heat transfer deterioration are obtained. Based on analysis of test results, the correlation for predicting critical heat flux is established, the calculation results from this correlation are in good agreement with the experimental results.
