INVESTIGATION ON 300 Hz PULSE TUBE CRYOCOOLER

The performance of 300 Hz pulse tube cryocooler is different from the ones with low- frequency.In this paper,we use inertance tube as the phase shifter.The experiment and analysis of the inertance tube were performed with different diameters and lengths.The results indicate that the geometry of inertance tube has obvious influence to the performance of 300 Hz pulse tube cryocooler. When the inertance tube in the optimum position,the mass flow at the hot end lag the pressure by about 60°,while the mass flow at the cold end lag the pressure by about 30°.The length of inertance has influence on the amplititude of outlet of the compressor and the hot end of the pulse tube.
