APPLICATION OF IMPROVED WAVELET THRESHOLD DE-NOISING IN TURBULENT SIGNAL PROCESSING

The useful signal for turbulent sampling is usually affected by the noise to some extent. The reliable analytical data can be derived from appropriate signal de-noising method for accurate extraction of turbulent information.Wavelet threshold de-noising method,by which the high frequency components of available signal are separated from the noise,can be applied to turbulent signal denoising. Compared with the existed methods,an improved threshold function and a new method of adaptively selecting threshold based on wavelet energy entropy is put forward here.Firstly,according to the simulation results,this improved wavelet threshold de-noising method is applicable for the signal de-noising in different signal-noise ratio.Then,the de-noising effect of turbulent signals,whose quantitative indices were proposed as well,was evaluated by two groups of measured turbulent signal de-noising.The research has led to the conclusion that by using this improved method,the reliable analytical data can be got for further processing of the turbulent signals.
