FLOW PATTERNS AND THEIR TRANSITION CHARACTERISTICS OF GAS-OIL TWO-PHASE FLOW IN HORIZONTAL HELICALLY COILED TUBE

In this paper, an experimental research on the oil-gas two-phase flow patterns and their transition characteristics in horizontal helically coiled tubes is carried out.The flow pattern maps are obtained,the transition mechanisms between two kinds of flow patterns are analyzed and discussed,and some dimensionless criteria for the transitions are proposed.
