Application of multi-slack load flow calculation in dispatcher power flow

Compared with conventional load flow calculation,results of multi-slack load flow calculation are closer to practical power systems in dispatcher power flow.Three algorithms of multi-slack load flow computation,i.e.,static,quasi-dynamic and dynamic methods,are proposed and introduced at length in this paper according to the calculation of unbalanced power.Four methods are applied to distribution of unbalanced power among slack machines,in which power limitations of each machine are considered.Finally,IEEE 14-bus standard system is studied with the proposed methods.Results show that the methods are valid and feasible.
