Frequency stabilized laser by Zeeman effect and saturated absorption lines of Rubidium atoms

Because of Zeeman effect, Zeeman split takes place in the hyperfine level structure of neutral atoms where there is magnetic. And the split is different between the right circularly polarized light and the left circularly polarized light. An external cavity diode laser can be stabilized by Zeemam effect and saturated absorption lines of atoms. The method can stabilize the output frequency of laser on the peak of atoms absorption lines and less lose lock. The laser stabilized by this method is used in the experiment of laser cooling atoms.
