The Research of Joint Control Algorithm of Moving Target Dome Projection Based on Two-axis Turntable

To solve the problems of complex structure and low projection brightness of current large dome simulation system, a new kind of target simulation system based on two-axis turntable is designed. The projected coordinate and the correspondence between projected image and the two-axis angles of turntable are discussed. The principle of target precise positioning is introduced. The joint control algorithm between image generation software and control of two-axis turntable is proposed. The algorithm is that turntable is controlled based on different target speed and it uses software to compensate lag of turntable. The experiment results show that average position precision of the system can reach less than 0.11 pixel when the simulate target is more than 1 km away. The target simulation system meets requirements of semi-physical simulation.
