Research and Application Progress of Modified Palygorskite in Chemical Water Treatment

The cost of wastewater treatment by modified palygorskite low.The effect was good.The structural characteristics of palygorskite were introduced.The four modification methods of Heating modification,inorganic compound modification,organic compound modification and loading modification of natural zeolite and present status of application research on using modified palygorskite in chemical water treatment field were summarized.Application of modified palygorskite in chemical water treatment was prospected.Modified palygorskite will widely applied.
