Study on Adsorption Properties for Uranyl Ion on Tea Scrap

Powdery adsorbent was prepared by pretreating the raw material, the scrap of Tieguanyin Tea. Analyzing the FT-IR characterization of adsorbent.Then, the adsorption properties of uranyl ion on this adsorbent were studied, the influence of pH, Temperature, adsorption time, initial concentration, adsorbent dosage and ionic strength on adsorption were discussed. And the adsorption mechanism was inferred by fitting experimental results with dynamic model and adsorption isotherm model.
