The Damage of Heavy Metal Pollution of Roadside Soil on Crops and Its Prevention and Control Measures

The construction and operation of highway seriously destroy ecological environment. Not only soil and water loss was caused, but also lots of pollution were made including heavy metals which come from automobile. Heavy metal pollution would seriously damage agriculture ecological environment safety. Artificial vegetation restoration is effective methods to settle this problem. The effects of heavy metal pollution of roadside in crops were discussed in this paper, and the importance of artificial vegetation the on controlling the soil heavy metal pollution nearly by the road was analyzed.
