Selection of Two-line Super Hybrid Rice Yue-za 122

WANG Feng, LIU Wu-ge, LIAO Yi-long, LI Shu-guang, LIU Zhen-rong, HUANG De-juan, PENG Hui-pu (Rice Research Institute,Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Guangzhou 510640,China)  
Yue-za 122 was a two-line super hybrid rice with daily yield of more than 100 kg/hm~2, which was developed by using the genic male sterile line GD-1S as the female parent ,and R122 ( Guanghui 122) as the restorer line . It was approved and released for commercial production in 2001 in Guangdong province. And its planting area was already more than 66700 hectare. The analysis of yield performance, grain quality and diseases resistance for Yue-za 122 were made in the proper paper.
