Principal component analysis of the rare earth affecting the quality of navel oranges

DENG Tong-de, WANG Zhen-li (Jiangxi College of Applied Technology, Ganzhou 341000,China)  
Principal component of rare earth element (REE) influencing quality of navel oranges was analyzed by principal component analysis method. The result showed that all the rare earth had close relationship to the quality of navel oranges. The contribution rate of REE reached 74.9%. However, it had more close relationship to light rare earth element (LREE) and Y element. Trace fertilizer with overall REE should be applied in navel oranges. On the premise that all the REE was indispensable, increasing the proportion of LREE and Y element would be more beneficial for the growth and the quality improvement of nave oranges.
