Planting of waxy corn and its products’ developing progress

Waxy corn was rich in amylopectin, sugar, protein, amino acids, vitamins, fiber, Ca, Fe, P and other substances, cooked soft and delicate, sweet and sticky and fragrant with the unique flavor and high food value.Planting status of waxy corn at home and abroad were described, and the comprehensive deep-processing of waxy corn were generalized and analyzed, development orientation and technics of waxy corn products were proposed, commercial process outlook of waxy corn was also prospected.
