Study on micowave-assisted extraction technology of flavonoids from the leeves of Clausena indica

The technological condition of microwave-assisted extraction of flavonoids were investigated by the single factor and orthogonal experiments.The influence of microwave treatment time on the extraction ,microwave power,solvent concentration and solidto-liquid ratio were studied,and comparison was made between convenctional extraction and microwave-assisted extraction.The restults showed that,the optimum conditions of microwave-assisted extraction were as follows : microwave extraction time 60 s,microwave power 240 W,alcohol concentration 70% and solid-to-liquid ratio 1:35 .The concent of flavoniods from the leeves of Clusena indica was 3.90% with microwave-assisted extraction and 3.40% with convention method.The microwave-assisted extraction was superior to the convention method.
