Visualization in scientific computing and its application in forestry

XIAO Hua-shun,FU Chun-feng(Forest College,Central South University of Forestry & Technology,Changsha 410004,China)  
As a new technology,Visualization in Scientific Computing(VISC) is regarded as means to analyse and comprehen data,which can convert numerical data into visual one.The paper reviewed the research status and tool of VISC,sumed up the applying status of VISC in agriculture.Moreover,based on the data and information characteristic of agriculture this paper advanced VISC hot spot and specialty applying in agriculture.Afterward,agricultural applying problem and developmental tendency of VISC were indicated.
