Study on Symbolic Consumption of the Youth Group in the Process of Urbanization——Taking Village A as an Example

The post-90 s youth group in village A,who have no stable work and fixed income,are getting rich because of the demolition of the government. They yearn for a high-quality modern life style,and try to show their superior life and identity through symbolic consumption,so as to construct their communication relationship with the society. Their world outlook is very biased. It is believed that the main factors shaping the consumption concept of young people are mass media,social cultural environment and values that need to be perfected. We should start from community dissemination,strengthening ideological education and improving social security system so as to promote the rational consumption of the youth.
