## Contraction Water Depth Simplified Calculation to Standard U-shaped Drainage

Standard U shaped section water depth calculation is needed to complete the solution of transcendental equation,but because the section form of special,solving the function is divided into two ranges,theory is unable to obtain the analytical solution.The conventional diagram method,trial method and approximation problems calculating formula of segmented,form complex etc. In this paper based on the basic equations of deformation and consolidation,optimum matching theory,the standard residual error minimum as the objective function,in the scope of application parameters of engineering,the alternative to the optimal fitting equation function,was expressed by a general formula,the form is simple and intuitive,easy to practical application,calculation accuracy satisfies the approximate formula design requirements,has great practical significance.
