Analysis on the Influence of Bridge Pile Foundation under Embankment Load Based on p-y Curve

M method was widely used to analyze the laterally loaded piles in China. However,it can not take large deformation and nonlinear of the soil into account. It was difficult for designers to choose a suitable m value because of its great range in standard. To solve this problem,the influence of bridge pile foundation under embankment load based on p-y curve method was analyzed. The comparison between the analysis results and the two-dimensional finite element simulation results showed that the method based on p-y curve was appropriate.
