GAO Jie, ZHU Ji-ye, LENG Xi-sheng, et al. Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery, People’s Hospital, Peking University, Beijing 100044, China
Objective To investigate Child-Pugh classification and retention rate of indocyanine green at fifteen minutes (ICGR15) to evaluate the clinical value of liver reserve function in primary liver carcinoma with cirrhosis patients before operation. Method Retrospective analyse the data of 125 primary liver carcinoma with cirrhosis cases by operation or ablation, divided into two groups according to the Child-Pugh classification and ICGR15 level, analyzed the death rate of perioperation. Results The operation group has 105 cases, the perioperation death rate is 2.9%, liver failure caused the death. Child A has 55 cases, 1 case was dead with ICGR1520%. Child B has 49 cases, 2 cases were dead with ICGR15 10%~20% and 20%. Child C has 1 case, recover well with ICGR15 10%~20%. The ablation group has 20 cases by general anesthesia, the perioperation death rate is 0, though Child A or B patients has different ICGR15. Conclusion Based on the Child-Pugh classification, the primary liver carcinoma with cirrhosis patients before operation should choose liver reserve function test such as ICGR15 selectively, which can help surgeons draw up reasonable surgical planning and improve clinical treatment.
