Development Analysis of Laser Weapon of United States

WANG Da-hai Navy Representative Bureau in jinzhou,Jinzhou,121000,China  
The main features of laser weapons are introduced.The development process and status of the develop- ment and improvement of laser weapons of United States are analyzed from the technologies,such as laser basic technology and vehicular high-energy solid-state laser weapon technology and shipboard laser weapon technology and airborne laser technology and so on.The development plans and key technologies breakthrough in the space -based,airborne and vehicular platforms are discussed,and the development trend of laser weapons is summa- rized finally.
