The Induced Voltage and Circulating Current in the Metal Shield of 10 kV Single Phase electrical Cables

In this paper, two cable faults, due to circulating current in metal shield of electrical cables, are introduced. The calculation formulae for induced voltage in metal shield under different structure are given and calculation results are compared with measured results.
