Study on the Pulsed Corona Discharge in the Treatment of Wastewater in Coking Plant

In the treatment of distilled ammonia coking wastewater the excessive content of refractory organics of hydrozybenzene and prussiate would bring on inactivity of aerobic bacteria in activated sludge and result in poor treatment efficiency. In this paper the distilled ammonia coking wastewater is pre-treated by pulsed corona discharge. The result show that the hydroxybenzene and prussiate in the coking waste water are redued effectively.
