Structure Design and Analysis of Controllable Reactor of Transformer Type Based on Magnetic Integration Technology

In order to achieve "high impedance and weak coupling" in the design of controllable reactor of transformer type(CRT), we put forward an array structure of magnetic integrated CRT based on magnetic integration. Through analyzing the relationship between magnetic flux of windings in CRT and establishing equivalent circuit for the structure, we inferred the formulas of short-circuit impedance and short-circuit current of each winding. An example was given to calculate short-circuit impedance and short-circuit current using the formulas. The analysis of flux and calculation results indicate that, the proposed CRT structure integrates control windings with current-limiting inductance, which maintains the short current of control windings at its rated value, meeting the requirements of "high impedance" while reducing the amount of discrete magnets. Moreover, the current of control windings which have been put into operation can remain to be unchanged despite the following input of control windings, that is to say, the complete decoupling between each control winding is achieved, which meets the requirements of "weak coupling" for CRT design.
