Application of Fuzzy Set Theory and Adaptive Resonance Theory Network in Dissolved Gas Analysis

The application of fuzzy set theory and adaptive resonance theory (ART) network for transformer fault diagnosis is described in this paper. Based on investigation, the distribution curve of the key gases are given by statistics and the boundary of membership function is calculated. The experience value of different membership function parameters are given also. Then the fuzzy ART network is presented. The sensibility of network to the key gases will increase after the input data are dealt with membership function respectively. The practical examples show that this method is efective.
