Study on nano-composite carbon coating deposited on YG6 cemented carbide by combustion flame method

In this paper,combustion flame method was used to deposit carbon coatings on polished YG6 cemented carbide surface.The morphology and structure of the coatings were represented by scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and micro-Raman scattering spectroscopy(Raman) respectively.The results showed that nano-scale globe-like diamond microcrystalline aggregates and diamond like carbon composite coating could be formed on YG6 cemented carbide surface on the conditions that the deposit time was 1 hour at the temperature of 850℃,and the distance between YG6 substrate and the nozzle was 30mm while the inner flame length was 50mm.
