The relationship between Bcl-2,apoptosis and c-myc in pancreatic cancer

Objective:To investigate the realation between bcl 2, apoptosis and c myc in pancreatic cancer.Methods:The SP and molecular in site hybridization methods were adopted to detect the expression of bcl 2 in 50 cases of pancreatic cancer tissue and 15 cases of pancreatic metastases. The apoptosis cells were observed by TUNEL technique.Results:There are inherent relations between the rules of apoptosis alteration and clinicopathologic character and the occurrence and development of pancreatic cancer. The result of bcl 2 and c myc gene expression in pancreatic cancer detected by immunohistochemical method is consistent with the result detected by in site hybridization method. bcl 2 and c myc gene is relatively stable on mRNA and protein level. bcl 2 protein plays an important role in the inhibition of the apoptosis of pancreatic cancer. bcl 2 and c myc protein were significantly correlated in the pancreatic cancer and pancreatic metastases.Conclusion:bcl 2 and c myc gene play an important role in the canceration and development of pancreas cell.
