Experiment of sodium dehydrocholate in treating the endotoxemia of obstructive jaundice.

Objective:To observe the effect of sodium dehydrocholate in treating endotoxemia of obstructive jaundice.Methods:The rats randomly divided into control group,group with ligation of common bile duct(CBDL) and treatment group(with CBDL).The bilirubin,immunoglobulins IgG,IgM and the endotoxin in the serum were determined.Results:The endotoxin in the serums were significantly decreased (P0.01) and immunoglobulins IgG,IgM in the serums were increased in the treatment group.Conclusion:Sodium dehydrocholate may decrease the endotoxin in the serums of obstructive jaundice.
