STUDY ON DYNAMICS OF ISOTHERMAL CRYSTALLIZATION OF NEODYMIA FILLED POLYPROPYLENE

he samples of a little Nd2O3 (neodymia) filled polypropylene (PP) are prepared. The isothermal crystallization dynamics have been investigated by DSC. The results show that Nd2O3 can enhance the growth rate of spherulite in PP, reduce the surface free energies of the developing crystals, and improve the behavior of isothermal crystallization of PP dealt with the Avrami and Hoffman’s theories.
