THE PREPARATION OF COATED UREA AND THE RESEARCH OF NUTRIENT RELEASING RATE WITH ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVITY

The urea was coated with hydrophile-lipophile compounds and the nutrient releasing rate was evaluated by the measurement of conductivity. The quantity of coating materials and operating conditions were optimized. The result show that the coated urea releases nutrient much slower than normal fertilizer. Evaluating the nutrient releasing rate by the measurement of electric conductivity is workable.
