Application of FT-IR in the Study of Factors Influencing the Molecular Conformation of Recombinant Spider Silk Protein

FT-IR was used to study the conformational changes of recombinant spider silk protein in the influence of some factors.Results show that the influence of the solvent to the recombinant spider silk protein lies on the sort of the solvent: formyl acid can promote the transformation to random coil further,while saturated LiBr solution can promote the transformation to β-fold;heating and denaturation can also promte the transformation to β-fold;adding macromolecule material to pNSR16 can obviously promote the transformation from random coil to β-fold.The result can give some reference for the preparation of recombinant spider silk protein tissue engineering composite material on the molecule level.
