The Preliminary Research on Spatial Variability of Soil Water and Salt Contents

Spatial variability is a very difficult item to deal with in large scale soil water and soil salt monitoring and investigation The preliminary research results with geo statistics theories and methods show that structure feature is weaker and stochastic feature is stronger for the soil water and salt data. Therefore, stochastic theory is applied to analyze sampling spatial series. In the analysis, space is in the place of time, and time series and maximum entropy spectral analysis is used to reveal spatial variability of soil water and soil salt contents in different monitoring scales, and for monitoring soil water and soil salt contents in large areas.
