Effects of Ameliorative Measures on Physicochemical Properties of Saline Soil in Coastal Areas

The saline soil was ameliorated through applying of organic fertilizer,planting alfalfa,micro-area improving soil system,surface drainage and subsurface pipe drainage.Soil salinity,organic matter,pH were measured and the ameliorative effects under different ameliorative measures were analyzed comparatively.The results showed that soil salt contents in surface soil all decreased under 5different ameliorative measures.Under subsurface pipe drainage technology,planting alfalfa could significantly improve soil organic matter.Except micro-area improving soil technology system,other measures all could promote the accumulation of soil available phosphorus.Under the micro-area improving soil technology system,planting alfalfa could reduce soil pH value;Whereas,other methods had hardly effects on soil pH and soil pH was about 8.2.
