On Psychological Boundary of Enterprise

The psychological boundary of enterprise (PBE) is something that actually exists from the perspective of enterprise as social psychological system. The article sets up the concept of PBE after examining individual and group psychological boundary, and analyzes the characteristic of PBE by the clarity-illegibility, stability-flexibility and impermeability-permeability dimensions of PBE, and forms some propositions on PBE.Then it establishes the model of PBE management, and discusses the meaning of PBE for enterprise management from the relation between PBE and enterprise adaptation, organizational change, and organizational learning. Finally, the article explains the further directions to research.
